What is an Ambulatory Surgery Center?
Ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) are health care facilities that offer patients the convenience of having surgeries performed safely outside of a hospital setting. Millennium Surgery Center was formed by a group of local surgeons, Bon Secours, and Compass Surgical Partners to offer easily accessible outpatient care to Greenville, South Carolina and the surrounding communities.
The goal of any outpatient surgical visit is to provide the patient with a comfortable environment that focuses on their safety, supports the surgeon with the newest equipment and experienced staff and results in a successful surgical outcome. Patients appreciate being able to recover in the comfort of their own home surrounded by family and friends.
